Emanuela Esmeralda Selva
was born and raised in Rome where she earned her Master Degree in “Political Science”. She worked as a customer service agent, social worker, and eventually the executive assistant for the CEO of “Grandi Stazioni S.p.A” (a member company of Italy’s Railway Station Group). When she moved to Los Angeles she found new opportunities as a voice-over actress, tour guide, interpreter, and foreign language instructor for many private schools. She has found her passion for teaching Italian and has had great success with her students largely due to her energetic personality and International eclectic background. She has been trained and taught by many language private companies including Berlitz Language Learning, Pasadena Language center, Language Door, Super-learners international schools, as well as many others.
Ms. Selva strives to maintain a level of professionalism balanced with an amount of fun and “real life” situations throughout her lessons. She has enjoyed a reputation as a passionate educator who inspires students to excel with almost 10 years of experience. She tries to incorporate all aspects of her language into the lessons and immerse her students in Italian culture in a fun yet challenging way! She offers Italian lessons for all levels and all ages. Her goal is to meet the needs of her students and help them reach their potential.
