When I moved to Los Angeles, the first thing I thought of was to leverage my beautiful native language. I trained and taught Italian at 10 private language institutes including Berlitz Language Center and Santa Monica Language Academy. Since I derived such satisfaction from these experiences, I understood that this was the perfect job for me. In time, I decided to start my own business and created the “Little Italy Los Angeles” website.
I began to love teaching Italian for many reasons.
First of all, I love connecting with people of different cultures from all over the world, meeting interesting students with diverse personalities and talking about different topics.
Secondly, my ability to share knowledge with others is very rewarding, and I find happiness watching my student’s progress.
Finally, I find teaching is a reciprocal exchange of information and ideas. I am always learning something new from my students, which continues to stimulate my mind.
